Follow-up after returning home
After you return home, we follow up with you for 2 years and we get in touch with you ourselves: close follow-up in the first week, then once a month until month 6 and every 3 months until the end of the second year.

After an initial review of your photos, the surgeon in Istanbul examines your face, recommends a procedure or combination and arranges pre-operative tests. Depending on the operation, local or general anaesthesia is used. Dressings and stitches are checked at follow-up visits, and the treating team advises when you can travel home.
What is recovery like after facial plastic surgery?
Swelling and bruising are expected and are often most noticeable at the beginning. Keeping the head elevated, using cold compresses where advised and avoiding strenuous activity support recovery. Stitches are removed at follow-up, and scars and residual swelling continue to improve over several months. Sun protection is usually recommended.

Swelling and bruising are expected and settle over time. Facial surgery can refresh or rebalance features but does not stop ageing, and results vary with skin quality and lifestyle.
